Anja Frei is a senior researcher at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute (EBPI) and the Population Research Center (PRC) of the University of Zurich . She has broad and longstanding experience in designing and conducting research projects and interventions. She is leading and has led the Zurich sites of the large-scale population-based MAP studies and Corona Immunitas seroprevalence studies, developed, evaluated, and implemented community-based and patient-centered interventions, and co-led the Swiss hubs of the the European MOBILISE-D and PROactive projects to develop and validate phyiscal activity measurement methods and digital mobility outdomes. She serves as the Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre Physical Activity and Health at the EBPI.
