Jan Fehr, MD, Prof, heads the Department of Public & Global Health and Travel Medicine Clinic at the University of Zurich. He leads the Pandemic Reference Vaccination Center of the Canton of Zurich and the Travel Clinic, which is the only WHO Collaborating Centre for Traveler’s Health worldwide. His research focuses on HIV, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis, mobility medicine, and emerging infectious diseases, including Covid-19 and vaccines. He is responsible for the SwissPrEPared platform and co-leads the academic partnership between the UZH and Makerere University of Kampala, Uganda. He is a member of various expert opinion groups and commissions, including the Swiss Federal Commission for Issues relating to Sexually Transmitted Infections. He is also the UZH One Health representative in the Una Europa University Alliance.
