René Schaufelberger is a case officer and file manager for various studies at the Institute of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention  (EBPI) and at the Population Research Center of the University of Zurich. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was responsible for managing vaccination certificates at the Canton of Zurich’s reference vaccination center.
From 2023 to the end of 2024, he worked on the Long COVID study Pycnovid.
