Zurich Population Research Conference 2027
Date: February 1–2, 2027
The conference will start in the morning on Monday, February 1, and will end in the afternoon on Tuesday, February 2.
Location: University of Zurich, City Campus, Main Auditorium KOL-G-201

Conference Dinner for all participants on February 1, 2027 (Registration is required).

Arriving by train
We recommend traveling by public transport.

Arriving by plane
Regular trains (every 5-15 minutes) run from Zurich Airport to Zurich main station.

Arriving by car
We do not recommend traveling by car.
How to get from Zurich main train station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof) to the Conference
You can reach the main building of the University of Zurich either on foot (approximately 10-15 minutes) or by tram.
On foot
You can easily reach the main building of the University of Zurich on foot from the main station. Cross the station bridge, climb the stairs at Central to Hirschengraben, walk straight ahead, and after approximately 250 meters (or 400 meters) turn left onto Schienhutgasse or Sempersteig. The walk takes about 15 minutes.
By tram
From the main station or Central:
- Line 6 (direction Zoo) to the ETH/Universitätsspital stop.
- Line 10 (direction Bahnhof Oerlikon) to the ETH/Universitätsspital stop (corner of Tannenstrasse): Walk approximately 250 m down Rämistrasse, the main building is on the right-hand side.
- Line 3 (direction Klusplatz) to the Neumarkt stop: Walk up Künstlergasse and enter the main building from the city side.
