The next Population Research Conference will take place on February 1–2, 2027, at the University of Zurich's main building.
This year’s theme, 'New Challenges and Solutions in Population Research’ addresses the rapid societal, technological, and methodological changes shaping the field today. From digital data and AI to ethical concerns, participation gaps, and global demographic shifts, population researchers are continuously adapting to new realities and opportunities.
The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange, collaboration, and mutual learning across population-focused disciplines.
