Seed Grants 2024

The UZH PRC has awarded its inaugural Seed Grants to three projects, each driving innovative and interdisciplinary population research at UZH.

The UZH PRC is pleased to announce the recipients of the inaugural 2024 PRC Seed Grants. These grants represent a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to fostering innovative research initiatives aimed at addressing pertinent health issues across various age demographics.

The selected projects exemplify exceptional collaborative efforts between multiple institutes and departments at UZH. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following project teams:

  • David Bürgin, Christina Haag: AI-enabled Language Processing of Adolescents’ and Young Adults’ Challenges and Aspirations (z-proso ALPACA)
  • Cesar Hincapié, Thomas Friemel: Prediction Modelling and Public Health Communication with Swiss National Joint Registry (SIRIS) Data — A Mixed-Methods Population Research Study
  • Michael von Rhein, Boris B. Quednow, Holger Dressel, Corina S. Rüegg, Oskar Jenni: Risk Factors for Developmental Delays in Early Childhood: A Review as a Basis for a Population-Based Clinical Study
